These terms have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. They describe how AskMyFit actually works and we intend to stand behind them, but they may change before launch.
AskMyFit’s feedback is generated by artificial intelligence. This explains what that means so you can weigh the feedback appropriately.
The reviews are AI-generated
Every review — your Shopping Friend feedback and every Second Opinion, free or included with Pro — is produced by an AI model, not a human stylist. Reviews are clearly labeled as AI in the app.
What the AI evaluates
The AI rates the OUTFIT for the OCCASION and desired impression you selected. It is instructed never to rate or comment on your face, body, weight, or appearance, and never to infer personal or sensitive traits.
Limitations
AI feedback is an automated opinion. It can be wrong, miss details, misjudge colors or fit from a single photo, or simply not match your taste. Treat it as one perspective, not a fact or a guarantee.

AskMyFit does not provide professional styling, medical, or other expert advice. Your decisions are your own.
How your photo is used
To generate a review, your photo and the context you provide are sent to an AI provider that returns the feedback. See the Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.
Generated images of you
“Show it on me” does something different from a review: it creates a new, AI-generated image depicting you wearing a suggested item. That image is synthetic. It is not a photograph of you, it is not evidence of how the item actually looks or fits on you, and the AI can get your body, the garment, or the drape wrong. We reject a generated image if it stops looking like you, and we screen the output before showing it — but treat what you see as an illustration, never as a photo.
